Robert (Bob) Palcher

Bob PalcherRobert Palcher, President of Dealer Solutions, Inc. has over 30 years of Retail Import and Domestic Automotive Parts and Service Experience. Industry leaders recognize him for his expertise in training, inventory management, asset verification, consolidation strategies, and profit improvement strategies.

Prior to founding Dealer Solutions, Inc. Mr. Palcher was an award winning Parts Manager, Fixed Operations Director, and served as National Director of Fixed Operations for AutoNation, Inc., the largest automotive retailer in the United States. In his position with AutoNation, he oversaw the parts operations for nearly 400 dealerships nationwide. Mr. Palcher played an instrumental role in the development of the CASH Discovery Program and the Electronic Parts Catalog System VIN/Option Automatic Link and originated and co-developed the Cross Stocking Inventory Transfer Program, systems that have significantly increased efficiency in parts and service.

Mr. Palcher is a graduate of several manufacturer-training programs, including the General Motors University for Parts and Service Management. In various capacities, he has also served on several National Advisory Boards including Chairman of the Catalog Advisory Board and Board Member of the Parts Training Advisory Council for General Motors. He frequently speaks for manufacturers, dealer groups, Controllers, Collision Managers, Parts/Service Managers, and computer vendors, and Mr. Palcher has presented at a number of industry conferences in the United States and Mexico, and he has been featured in numerous industry publications. Mr. Palcher has developed training modules for General Motors, Volkswagen of America, Volkswagen InterAmerica and Mitsubishi Motors and was featured in GM training videos, and developed and facilitated the Parts Operations training for AutoNation's General Manager University program.
